Workplace Conflict

Resolve a workplace conflict — calmly, neutrally, and without a lawyer

A conflict at work costs you energy, sleep, and job satisfaction, and easily gets worse the longer it continues. Whether it's a disagreement with a colleague, tension with your manager, or a dispute over tasks and agreements: the root cause is usually miscommunication and clashing interests, not unwillingness. Rsolve helps you get the conversation going again and turn it into workable agreements.

~10 minutes 100% neutral

Does this sound familiar?

Workplace conflicts rarely start big. They grow from small irritations that go unspoken, until working together starts to feel almost impossible.

  • Communication has become strained, or only happens by email now.
  • You feel you're not being heard, or notice the other person feels that way.
  • Unclear agreements about tasks, roles, or expectations.
  • The atmosphere in the department suffers, and you dread every working day.

How Rsolve helps with a workplace conflict

Rsolve is a neutral AI mediator that doesn't take sides. Both people involved explain their side; the mediator filters out the emotion and brings the real interests into focus — for example clarity, appreciation, or a workable division of tasks. Rsolve then helps turn that into concrete agreements that are acceptable to both of you.

  • Asynchronous: you don't need to be online at the same time or meet in person.
  • Neutral and without judgment — the mediator doesn't take anyone's side.
  • Focused on restoring the working relationship, not on winning or losing.

Here's how it works in 4 steps

01

Invite the other party

You start a case and share a secure link. The other person joins for free — no account or installation needed.

02

Each person tells their side

Both type out what's going on, in their own words and at their own pace. The AI mediator removes the emotional charge and translates accusations into interests.

03

Working together towards a proposal

The mediator presents neutral, concrete proposals that both parties can respond to, until you reach an agreement you're both comfortable with.

04

Agreements recorded

Once you agree, Rsolve puts the agreements you've made down on paper in a settlement agreement (art. 7:900 BW) that you both sign.

What does it cost?

Rsolve works with one fixed rate of € 3,99 per case. No subscription, no hourly rate, no hidden costs. Participation is free for the invited party. By comparison: a traditional mediation process quickly costs € 1.200 – € 2.400, and a lawyer or lawsuit process often costs € 2.500 – € 7.500 or more.

Privacy and confidentiality

Everything you share stays confidential. Conversations are encrypted in transit and stored within the EU, and your case is never used to train public AI models. Once finished, you can delete the entire case with a single click. Rsolve operates in compliance with GDPR.

What Rsolve does and doesn't do

Rsolve guides the conversation and helps you record your own agreements. It is not a lawyer and does not provide legal advice or judgment on your legal position.

  • For dismissal, a settlement agreement with your employer, or an employee on sick leave, legal review is wise — if in doubt, have the agreements checked by a legal professional or employment lawyer.
  • If you suspect discrimination, intimidation, or an unsafe situation, mediation is not the right route; contact a confidential advisor, company doctor, or the relevant authority instead.
  • Rsolve does not replace a company doctor, occupational health service, or going to court.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use Rsolve for a conflict with a colleague?
Yes. The neutral, asynchronous approach works especially well for a conflict between colleagues: both of you calmly explain your side without the conversation escalating, and the mediator helps you reach workable agreements.
Is an agreement via Rsolve legally valid?
If both parties agree, Rsolve records the agreements in a settlement agreement (art. 7:900 BW). This records your own agreements; it is not a legal ruling. If in doubt, we recommend having the document checked by a legal professional.
Does my employer have to take part in this?
Participation is voluntary. You invite the other person with a link; participation can't be forced. However, a demonstrable attempt at mediation often works in your favour if the matter later ends up with an authority or a judge.
What if we can't work it out?
Then you'll have a documented record of the attempt. Through our network, Rsolve can refer you to a mediator or employment lawyer, or to Het Juridisch Loket if your income is low.
